Welcome to the Disability Safety Hub!

This Hub has two main aims

To raise awareness of disability hate crime, helping disabled people to understand what a hate crime is.

The Hub also wants to help disabled people to report hate crime, and shows the different ways you can do this.
COVID-19 Resources

It is important to look after your mental health as well as your physical health during uncertain and stressful times. At Disability Equality Scotland, we are updating the Disability Safety Hub with information to help you stay safe and well during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak:
- We have produced a mental wellbeing guide that provides links to useful information on how to maintain good mental health.
- There are situations where some people are unable to wear a face covering. Request a face covering exemption card.
- For more resources visit The Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) mental health information hub.

On this Hub you will find helpful resources, including case studies and videos of disabled people talking about their own experiences of hate crime.

There are also contact numbers and information about where you can go and who you can talk to if you think you have been affected by Hate Crime.
